ACADEMIC GOALS

Drawings are the language of the project, and designing the interiors means shaping the project and communicating it to others: in this 3-hour course you will address the most important themes related to representation: some theoretic subjects such as descriptive geometry, digital modeling, study of light, photography; others more practical such as the making of models, drawing techniques, rendering techniques.

Learn to draw live and digitally, to be a complete professional, able to design spaces and finally bring your ideas to an accomplishment!

Instructor

Architect, lives and works in Rome. PhD who deals with architectural representation with particular attention to the relationship between digital and analog methods of representation. founder of the architecture and engineering firm SPSK in Rome.
He collaborated with the Bruno Zevi Foundation. Author of the documentary video on the 10th anniversary of the Arteinmemoria 2019 art biennale. He participated in the archive research and redesign of the plan of about thirty Italian 20th century city projects exhibited at the 2006 Venice Architecture Biennale.
With his professional studio he has carried out numerous projects including the renovation of the "Italia" skyscraper in Rome, the renovation of the Ex Vetreria Sciarra (2007) in Rome, the adaptation of the building in Via Giovanni Amendola annexed to the National Roman Museum (2006), the Faculty of Economics of the University of Roma Tre (2005), of which he oversaw the project representation and rendering.
In the field of relief and restoration, he carried out the metric and architectural survey and restitution of the central hall and vestibules of the atrium of the Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican, and processing of the graphic documentation relating to the conservative restoration. He collaborated with Prof. Paolo Marconi for the Restoration Design of Palazzo Buonaccorsi in Macerata.
He has participated in numerous national and international architectural competitions including: the Redevelopment and Enhancement of the Old City of Taranto ”(first prize winning project) 2016; National Competition of Ideas "The Squares do ... Center" (Second prize winning project); Rigenerare Corviale - International design competition (special mention) 2015.
Over the years he has been the holder of various contract courses relating to the disciplinary sector of design in Ascoli Piceno in the degree courses in Architectural Sciences, Industrial Design and the Msc Degree course in Industrial design and visual communication, in Rome in the bachelor course in Graphics and Multimedia Design of the Faculty of Architecture in Valle Giulia, and in the master of Exhibit & Public Design, since the first edition of the same, with the teaching of Visual and Multimedia Communication.
He is co-supervisor of numerous graduation projects in the universities of Rome and Camerino. The last 3 years, he has been the holder of the first year Technical Design course of the Habitat Design degree course at Quasar Institute for Advanced Design.
